Default beru 14FR-5DTU spark plugs

The recent spark plug thread reminded me of the 14FR-5DTU (Part # 999.170.183.90) plugs the parts guy gave me. I know the bosch are FR-5DTC. What's going on?

I've verified that these are indeed FR5DTC plugs. How does beru compare to bosch?

Search the archives and you will find Steve Weiner advises against using the Beru plug... good enough for me to use Bosch.

Yep I remember seeing that...but I don't remember his answer being that clear cut! His word is law so I'll try and get 'em switched. Thanks for digging that up Kelly.

You might want to have a look at this thread, too. Less than $50 for a set of 12 Bosch plugs at Pelican. Take your plugs back to the dealer and ask for a refund, if you can.
