Yes Danny... original sways. If my wife saw one more part purchased for this car, I'd be pushing up daisies right now. I'm more than happy with it the way it currently is as I'm not a seasoned driver and would likely not notice the difference... although I've heard the sways are reasonably inexpensive and don't require re-alignment or corner balancing post-install.

If you ever have the funds and yes they are not that expensive get from Gert the Euro M030 sways... They are really worth it.

This is inspiring...... I'm waiting on my HD's from Gert.
When they arrive, I'll be doing it all.
Shocks,
Row 030 Springs
Sways
Links
Bushings
Alignment
The wife has already seen the big box with springs/sways...... Luckily she knows about the HDs

Trojanman ... it looks from the before and afters that you have chosen a nice relaxed (not slammed) stance for the car with lots of shock travel left ... it should be quite comfortable even with the dramatic improvement in handling.
I was wondering what listers have found the right compromise in heights ... possibly from fender height measurements despite the inaccuracies of same??
Thanks,

Hey Doug...
You're right; I didn't want it "slammed", much to the chagrin of several posters I'm sure!!
I did install the FPB and have, after only three days of driving, scraped it lightly twice. I was looking for a compromise among aesthetics, handling, and practicality and believe I found it with my settings.
Everyone's "balance point" is different though, so what works for me won't necessarily float every boat. That's what's so great about our cars, though... they are very personal and we have the ability to make them our own.
Awww, a tender moment on Rennlist.

Hey Dane...
I'm right up the street from you in North Tustin. Come by sometime and we can compare notes... I'd love to see your car. Send me a PM with your phone # if interested.

Hey Luke... they are the regular H&R coil-overs (not the hard core stiffer racing set-ups... these are PLENTY stiff for mostly street and light track use). Carnewal sells them as do many distributors... do a Yahoo search for H&R coil-overs.
Prices are anywhere from $1,600 to $2,200, or thereabouts. Keep in mind that labor for mounting, alignment, and corner balancing will add another ~$1k.

Jeff,
Do you have any kit-specific part numbers or identifiers? I've done some searching and have located various H&R coilover setups, some that seem to be strictly H&R, and others that appear to be cobbled together by 'tuners'.
Any insight would be appreciated.

Jeff, your car looks great, glad to hear everthing
has taken a positive turn. Even though you did not
have the chance to put a lot of miles under your
belt with the prior setup, I would still be interested
in your impression of the LWF vs. DMF. Does the
varioram seem to come in a little sooner, eh?
Nothing but the best, Steve

I have noticed a difference but with so many changes made at one time it's hard to know where to attribute the change. The LWF has certainly been a nice upgrade but the suspension has been the most notable improvement. Thanks for the encouragement... I'll be sure to drive her by sometime soon, and you can experience it yourself.
