I like the car as it is and think that everything should have a purpose... Personally I hate having car aerials so am happy with my crappy winscreen aerial ;-)

At first I thought you were kidding......

As I see it, you made two mistakes:
one- you stuck something rather 'lame' on your car
two- you told someone about it
(and provided photographic evidence )

It would probably be more convincing if you also added a (non -functional ) Nav display screen:

I haven't used the radio in my car for over 2 years (broke the antenna cable when installing my system - never fixed it!!) - so I have no idea what that is!!

This type of antenna (at least on coupés) is for the phone.

Great targa, but reminds me of the 'ol fake cell phone antennas. Not to mention making car a bit of target thinking you have unique stereo/nav system.

Tell 'em it's a deer whistle. How about a group buy on carbon fiber deer whistles?

If it doesn't do a danged thing, why waste your time with it? Just screws up the clean looks of a nice car.

Not my style, but most of the mods I see here are cosmetic. People complain about the ride of 18 inch wheels but switch anyway for cosmetic reasons. How about bumper plugs or the decals for the spoiler? Lots of people paint there brakes to look like big reds. Who cares if a mod is functional or cosmetic? To each his own.

Thanks, I couldn't agree more.

I appreciate all the comments but it's my car, it's my antenna, I like it and I'm keeping it!
