I tried searching for all threads on Champion wheels on 993s and there seems to be something wrong with the search function. Does anyone have pictures of a 993 Wide Body with Champion 18 x 11.5 rear wheels on it? Champion has quoted me 18 x 11.5 with an offset of 44mm for the rear and I can't help but to feel skeptical. Alternatively, I go with 18 x 11 with 65mm offset (narrow body fitment) and just run my 25mm spacers out back but I'd rather avoid the spacers if I can.
Thanks in advance

Those should fit since the 996TT 18x11 ET40 fits....assuming you stay with 285 you will have about 1" less clearance inboard (actually 23mm) and 15mm less clearance ouboard. Get underneath your car and take a few measurements.
Worse case scenario is you roll your fenders...please post pics when you get the wheels.

Thanks David. If I get these wheels, I intend to run 285s and part of my concern was running a 285 on such a wide rim but people I trust swear to me that the fitment works well (tire on that size rim).

Alon,
I would at least run a 295 on a 11.5 inch wheel. With a 285 you will have absolutely no rim protection. And IMO, I think the 285 tire would look funny on that wide of a wheel.
FWIW...
