Question Wheel cleaning/degreasing in LA

I have an 18" front wheel that came from a wrecked 993, and I want to convert it into a hose reel. I don't want to clean it down at home as being close to the beach everything runs into the ocean and I won't take the risk of a solvent or cleaner getting on the ground. and i'm lazy.

So any ideas of where i can take the wheel to get it degreased/cleaned? Looking for Santa Monica or SF Valley preferably

TIA.....

get some carbuerator cleaner. how dirty can it really be??? spray it and wipe it. you shouldn't have to flood the sidewalk or pollute the pacific to clean it.

Try Simple Green or some other earth friendly cleaner.

I used an orange degreaser solvent from home depot. It works great. You just spray on and hose off. It is earth friendly and easy to use. Do not let it get on finished surfaces or paint. I made the mistake of cleaning the back of my rims with it and let it sit for about 5 minutes on the first rim. I had to completely repolish that rim (extra 1/2 hour I didn't have).

I have used laquer thinner to remove cosmoline overspray. Sometimes a soft brillow pad is needed as well for the insides only..
