RH Cup AG wheels are only available for NB rears in 54mm offsets, meaning that they'll stick out 11mm too far. Can't fix that with a spacer. I had them on my prior 993, and the PO even had 285 tires on them. Yes, they stuck out pretty far but didn't look bad. HOWEVER, if you lower the car, you may have problems even with 265 tires; depends how low and the particular tire. May have to roll the rear fenders (20 minutes + baseball bat + heat gun).

Thanks for the info, but isn't it the 10" width, not the 18" diameter, that really drives the offset issue? Narrowbody Stock 9" width is 55mm offset in rear; 10" requires 65mm. So could you use a 40mm widebody offset with a 25mm spacer? Is that a good idea?

a) yes, it's the 10" width, not the 18" diam. But 18" wheels are almost always 10" wide, hence my statement. But you're technically correct.

b) Like I said, a spacer won't fix the problem when your wheel is already too far outboard. It would make it worse. Your thinking is backwards. A better question would be "can't I machine off 11mm from the wheel hub?" The answer would be no, BTW.

I admit I am numerically challenged and think my offset calculation is bassackwards. So an ET55 wheel with a 15mm spacer would equal an ET40 wheel? Do I have it right now? You subtract the width of the spacer from the "ET" number to get the resulting offset?

What are the weights of these wheels?

I would definitely consider them as an alternative to the speedlines as long as the weight wasn't more than my hollow technology wheels.

I think it's safe to say that nearly EVERY wheel weighs more than hollow-spoke technology wheels, except of course a set of $5000 BBS or such.

My Speedlines are relatively heavy. Seems similar to the RH Cup wheels I owned. Not crazy heavy, but still a couple pounds per corner more than Technology. (I have a set of Technology's too)

I have a set of these 3 piece wheels, in fact I have 6 total wheels. I changed the backs for a different offset after I lowered the car. I think they are one of the hottest wheels on the market. The extra backs (2) are a direct fit for a 964 Turbo. 18x10. I would be willing to sell them if anyone is interested. $500 for both plus shipping. The wheels definitely weigh more than Technology wheels but if you are not racing it hardly makes a difference.

Ok -- still struggling with offset for rear 18" x 10" RH 3.6's. As you all have posted, the rear should be 65mm. I have decided to buy the 3.6's and contacted Dave at Wheel Enhancement (great service) who recommended the following: 8 x 18 F @ 52mm and 8 x 10 R @ 54mm. The 54 mm rear offset should not cause any rubbing, etc. (standard factory shocks/springs are on the car). In addition the 65mm is not offered in the 3.6's. Sooooooooooooo, I guess the 54mm offset will work??

works fine...just cant run a 285 in the back if the car is lowered. 265s only. Poon and others do this with no problems. Good luck and enjoy.

Was there something about my first post above that wasn't clear??
