Default hood shock clip part number?

Let me first say that it takes the dexterity of a surgeon to complete this diy...at least on the first attempt. After doing it once, I can envision doing much faster though. Searching through the archives for the part number, I came across a good tip that I'll repeat:

Stuff a towel under the rear gas shocks while you're in there to catch any dropped parts. That would have saved me.

What is the part # of the clips that go on the pin that hold the shocks in place? Also, if anyone wants to indulge me, what are the part #'s on the following superficial parts whose absence has begun to annoy me:

-obd plug cover in driver's footwell (midnight blue)
-seatbelt pivot cover (on a-pillar)

I'll just list the parts for everything involved to aid in future requests but your looking for N-012-645-2.

993-511-331-00 (2) gas-filled strut
900-169-016-02 (2) securing clip for gas-filled strut ( have no idea)
999-166-043-02 (2) bolt
N-012-645-2 (2) safety clip

PET only lists the covers as available in satin black.

993-552-523-00-01C cover
944-803-141-00-70B seatbelt cover (b-pillar -- between door and rear window and not a-pillar -- between door and windshield, just making sure...)

I did a tech article on this little task a while back--you can view it at:

I've been trying to confirm the part numbers for the rear decklid shocks and found this thread (yes - I did a search! ).

Anyway, the number on the side of the shocks I bought (from flea-bay) are:
911 512 532 21

They look the right size, but don't correspond to the number on PET or Pelican (Pelican quote 911 512 331 02).

Do I query this with the vendor, or can anyone confirm if this part number is designed for my car (1997 C4)?
