An RS60 driven by a few obscure drivers with the names of Hill, Bonnier, Moss, Holbert, Barth, and Hermann at some minor races at the Targa Florio, Nurburgring, LeMans and Sebring.

Another storied RSK, this '59 718 was driven by Wolfgang Von Trips, Jo Bonnier, Edgar Barth, Umberto Maglioli, Paul Frere and Johnny Von Neumann and raced at Spa, LeMans, the Targa Florio, Nurburgring and Rheims. Note the unpainted aluminum body work. Gorgeous look.

Joe Buzzetta's 906. I love the high fender arches on this car.

Mark - thanks for all the extra pics of cars I didn't even get to see! We left a bit earlier and missed that gorgeous 917 I guess. Oh well. What I saw amazed me enough. And to think we almost left after the swap meet, not even realizing that this concours was being set up on the hill just above it all! Thankfully someone nudged us to explore what was up on the hill at the hotel (the setting up of this concours event)! It was a day I will never forget.

Awesome Pictures, You guys are very lucky to see these up close, most folks can only see these cars in Books and magazines. These pictures bring back memories at Porsche 50th Anniversary and 911 30th jahres in Monterey for me. Just AWESOME!

Dayum, there was some serious hardware there. I am just dying not having been there with so many beautiful models to shoot.

Mark you have some very nice images there, good job.

Thanks, Alan. I did the best I could in the sweltering heat with no lights and all of these crazy reflections.

More to come...

A cool, ex-Hap Sharp Elva-Porsche. I spoke to the owner, a very nice gentleman by the name of Ray Morgan, who brought me up to speed on his car's history.

Look what showed up to the party! It's like a spaceship landed on the grass of our picnic. From what I overheard the driver/owner say, this is not Mark Donohue's original 917-30.
