Mika - it is Riviera Blue, my pictures make it look a little darker than it actually is.

Who is this Dick B?? It is a sad day when we are more likely to know who Lindsay Lohan is dating than a guy that has won a ton of endurance races including Le Mans three times, had a factory ride, and now has his own racing team. He can dress my hair anytime.

Hi Blaine...thanks a lot for posting the pictures...nice pictures by the way...the car must be a blue turquoise as Riviera blue was available exclusively for 1995 year model...blue turquoise (not Turquoise metallic) is indeed very similar to Riviera blue and I'd gladly settle for this color... unfortunately Dick's car has too many mods for my own taste...probably a fantastic car if you are into spoilers...if I had to get one car from the pictures...it would get your barbarian silver princess! ;- )

I really appreciate your kindness driving all the way to Dick's place in order to take the pics and help me out...if you need anything in Miami, let me know my friend...

Hey Pedro - no problem at all. My friend (not the previous owner Dick Barbour) was more than happy to let me take a few shots.

The paint was a special order and is Riviera Blue. I should have taken some pics of the options codes.

I totally understand about the options. I plan on keeping Brunhilde "unmolested" but to each his (or her) own.

Max - this isn't the Bacardi car. As I remember that one had some yellow options and didn't have the Techart stuff. I too wonder what happened to that one.

FYI, I don't think that too many of these color cars came to the US. According to the PO of my car, only 12 of Blue Turquoise came to the US in 1996.

If you extend those numbers from 95-98 that's less than 50 cars in that color. I'm not sure if those numbers are accurate or not, but in my PCA region I have only seen 1 other car in that color.

What are the option codes for Riviera Blue and Turquoise Blue? I'll check to be sure.

If you open the trunk, as you face the car on the right hand side pull back the carpeting on the side there should be a paint code sticker there, it will be silver with black lettering...alternatively the option code sticker which is white and will have the vin # along with the options the car was built with along with the paint code. Hi there...thanks for all the great input...Nice car at Sporthaus...Tiptronic though! The premium price for the "S" cars are beyond my budget as well...I can't dive deeper than $40k...

Many thanks...when I get back from my trip, I think I'll broad my options as far as color and focus on condition, otherwise I'll be stuck forever in the search for this "Bubble gum" blue! ;- )

Take care...

Wow!!! Thank you very much...for the first time I can really see the difference...both colors subject to the same light and side by side! Wonderful shot and what a group of 993s!
