OK, how does a whole get ripped in the upper engine air duct?

Here's my update. Cancelled my Suncoast order and bought at the dealer; only a few bucks more and I could get to the project right away, Suncoast was backordered.

The install was a little more challenging that at first thought. The A/C mount bracket was nearly touching the right side bolt, so I had to remove the bracket just to get a wrench on it.

Not too hard to replace anyway.

Looks like Ken is the first to have had this failure while the tray was on (although the PO may have been running with it off and replaced it just before the sale), so the jury is still out whether operating with the tray removed creats more stress of some sort.
