Still waiting too for mine. Dare I say it, but the rings remind me of the original Miata rings and that was the first thing I noticed about those cars when they first came out....loved 'em. Can't wait to get mine. Always loved that look.

I got the rings over the weekend and here is mine. I've used the double sided tapes (not the thick 3M kind) cut into little strips circling around the ring. The tapes I've used is actually for golf grips- kind of like masking tape but double sided. It was just thin/thick enough to make it a perfect fit.

Anyone interested in posting a more overall cockpit shot?

I'm really tempted, but would love to see them installed in a black interior and a bit farther out--so I can get the "feel".

They sure look great--this coming from a diehard "stocker".

Thanks. I used 3M #90 spray trim adhesive because it's what I had around, then cleaned up with acetone. To tell you the truth, I though it was too messy and time consuming. The tape sounds like a good idea.

I received mine on Thursday, but have'nt had the time to install yet. The rings look really good and should be a very nice addition...

I used a silicone adhesive clear caulking. First I polished them with Mothers Aluminum polish to clean them up (what a difference!), cleaned them totally dry with a clean rag, used a little brake clean on the back to clean them off (don't skip this step, its amazing what comes off), brake cleaned the gauge itself and stuck the rings to them bezzel. Absolutely love the way they look. Some one wanted pics of a black interior.....these won't do it justice, but they look great! I also buffed out my shifter cap and painted the #'s......it too looks cool (of course guards red, what else).....but the pics suck!

You want to use double sided carpet tape. It's real thin, unlike the double sided tape I first bought that was foamy. The rings that I applied 8 small pieces have so far held up, the others, with 4 small pieces of tape, have fallen off. Like others have said, 2 of the bezels are slightly undersized and are a challenge. Overall, I'm happy with them, not an over-powering look.

Hmmm, it's now Tuesday and I still have not recieved mine. Others in my area seem to have gotten theirs last week. How much longer does one have to suffer looking at others installations?

Hi Alan,

I believe some still have not received them on the West Coast yet. I hope you guys will get them soon. If you do not receive it by the end of this week, please let me know and I will check with the vendor for you.

You will be THAT much more satisfied when you do get it.
