Seller seems to think that it only will fit a 996, but i am thinking that any steering wheel that fits a 996, would also fit a 993 (?).... Can anyone definitely answer this question?

Here are a couple of pics. I am excited to buy it, but dont want to get stuck with something that wont fit.

very similar steering wheel on a 993, although maybe the newer version --- it looks a little lighter than the stock black interior... a bit of a concern for me, i wonder how well its going to match the interior....

 

I installed a 996 stock 3 spoke leather steering wheel on my 96 TT and it was an easy direct bolt on I was told just leaving the ignition key out was ok so I didn't disconnect the battery and everything worked out fine and didn't trigger the airbag light it's very easy to do I found mine on ebay for $400 and that included airbag and it had the silver emblem which matched my siver gauges and alum. ebrake & shifter nicely Doug
