so... as always.... the real performance factor IS the nut behind the wheel.....

btw: i recently lost 75 lbs... so wide bod is in future. -- now i weigh 95 h eh ehehe.

All you need to do is check the production numbers....then have a re-think!

Thanks, Jonathan!

I'm actually having trouble with the avatar. I used Photoshop 7.0 to downsize a large pic, but unless I have it really small (150 pixels across) and at the lowest quality setting, its size is too big for Rennlist to accept and it looks blurry. I'd like to find a better solution that could get it to 250 pixels across and clear and still be able to upload it.

Any suggestions from anyone? Or, I'd be grateful to send a large pic for someone to shrink to fit.

Gentlemen,

Thanks for the insight. I will keep my eyes open for something local (Atlanta area). My roommate has a 95 black 993. If I go with a c2 as apposed to the "S" models I would most likely go with the 95 to rule out any ODBII issues.

I chose the widebody because it makes me feel more manly, I walk taller, am much better in bed now, have more friends, and have a much better outlook on life...

Hmm...but what if I get a turbo next....

(no!...I'll never give in to the dark side...nooooooooo.....well....okay, maybe... )

Seriously, the widebody is a personal taste thing, just like taste in women, architecture, artwork, it's all subjective. I like the look of the widebody more, I realize a NB car might have aerodynamic advantages at higher speeds, but I don't plan on hitting the salt flats so it's not a factor. For me, there's just something hot and sexy about a widebody 911. Always thought so when I was a kid watching the flared 911 race cars, and I just can't get the obsession out of my mind.

I am a man who cannot be pleased.
I do not like the looks of the wide body rockers. The way they kick out just doesn't follow the lines as well as I feel they should. However, I love the angle from the rear of a wide body 993. That 1.7" difference in hip size is most noticable. In a perfect world, I'd adapt the wide body rear quarters and nose cover to a narrow body car.

Yeah baby!

get a c2 or c4 and the money you save for not having an S on badge on the ***..put toward the following, you will never look at the letter S the same way again :

-Guard LSD
-Close ratio gears
-LWF/RS clutch
-f/R H&R sways
-Racing dynamics strut bar
-New PS2s all around[the best tires I have had on her].
-bypass
-fresh plugs,wires,caps, rotors, oil, filters
-New check valve, with SAI
-New oil return tubes
-some weight saving measures, but not drastic..seats, jack, etc.
-RS mounts
-PSS9s
-Racing dynamics springs
