I have a set of chromed Al. wheels for my mustang that were chromed from the factory, and they've held up great. Theres a bit of flaking on one from the PO curbing them, but other than that no problems. Theres no pitting or corrosion on my Porsche wheels either. . . but they're not hollow spokes so trapping acids w/in can't happen.
