Arrow Photos from today's Player's Run in Seattle, WA!

hey guys, I woke up at the butt-crack of dawn for y'all! I took 270 pics of the cars from today's Player's run that departed from the fairmont Olympic Hotel in Seattle, WA this morning. There were some amazing cars...like 5 Gallardos, 1 Murcielago, a 360 CS, 2-3 360s, tons of 996's, one 993 tt, and the most amazing new Mustang you have seen! I am more than happy to burn these pics on a disk and mail them to you guys if you cover postage! Get in touch with me! The pics are pretty good! All are shot with a Nikon D70 with a 17-55 2.8 ED lense and SB800 Flash. There are also some behind the scenes shots of the decal installation and detailing of the cars! Not too bad!

A good friend of mine is in the 993TT. There have been some incredible stories.. here are some quotes:

"drove 12hrs straight today, 49 cars, breathtaking roads (and views), ~18 speeding tickets (we had 10 cars pulled over at in one session), >20 state patrol encounters, 2 guys landed in jail, 1 800HP fire-spitting 911"

"i only topped ~155MPH today, nothing close to what some of the really insane guys were doing... all i have to say is thank goodness for Porsche brakes :-)"

"new to our crew today are... a Ferrari Enzo, Porsche GT, Saleen S7, 700HP Lotus (which broke after 4 minutes), Ariel Atom, and host of other rare beauties. though i have to say i smoked the Enzo in my turbo during a ~15 mile snake trail race (the fact the guy only had it for 3 days now doesn’t matter :-))"

Those are (since departed) 17" Kinesis Supercups. They looked cool, but were a royal pain to clean, heavy, and as others have noted in the recent Supercup thread, prone to breakage. That wheel in the avatar had a crack in the spoke. So out went the Supercups and in came the 2002 996 5-spokes. Love those wheels! Very clean.

As to ride height, that is the standard SUV height. I'm going to take it down to ROW, but still deciding between Bilstein HDs and PSS9s.

And now back to our regularly scheduled thread: You would think those guys would be loaded to the gills with Bearcats and V1s. I guess when you've got that much money, you can get an attorney to spring you out of almost anything (re: OJ).
