The oil was bone cold....I know I should've gotten it warm first. Would this impact the possible overflow/overfill? Haven't checked the actual level with stick and warm. I'll do that this evening while it's smoking like a 75 Chevy Vega!
ALWAYS check and add oil with the engine HOT...the hotter the better I have found...when the oil is cold the dipstick and gauge won't register correct readings at all.
