Default 95 cab - strange color, good price

If anyone is looking for a cab, you might want to see this one: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=10156

No affiliation, of course.

I actually don't think that color is strange - different, unusual... but not strange. Lowered, turbo bumper and reshoed with the right rims and that car could look awesome (but then again I have a green car...).

Purple/Violet is actually one of the colors on my short list for a 993TT

I agree, David. I would drive that color car without hesitation. Then again, I also drive a green cab

Except it's a Tip... the price is great, however.

I agree; I'd have bought a coupe in that color in a second - and keep kicking myself for missing out on the only oak green 993 I've ever seen.

David, there is a purple Turbo S on ebay now. Looks nice but suitably insane asking price.

I was looking for a dark green/tan C4 for a while but it seemed that wasn't a very popular color setup.

Have to laugh at the description though...

"Imagine the reality of a warrantee that offers a 5 YEAR/100,000 MILE engine, transmission and waterpump warrantee"

How do you go about making a claim for that little "problem" on one of these?

Pretty cool color... you don't see many of those about.

Ugh. I just saw a purple 993TT at Loeber Motors in chicago getting some work done. Can't say I liked it, sorry, but I'm sure somebody must. If you really want one, call them and maybe they'll help you find the owner.

I guess there aren't any Prince fans on the 993 board. But since it's a Tip I'll add one more: AUTOMTC

grouchy, funny you should mention that. I saw just that combo on Saturday. Some guy was pulling out of a parking spot I was waiting for and he had just that car...

imho----> i love those crazy loud colors............ never forget doing a road trip (in sante fe) in the early 90's seeing a group from pcna, bunch of "brass hats" driving the most wild colored p-cars i've ever seen in one place. pure candy.

this cab seems to be really cheap. may be a great deal, though the front end does look like the p.o hit a few bunnies.

Any Orlando Rennlisters go by and check this out yet ....? If so, or if you can, send me email or PM. Looking for honest input on body condition, and if any looks like repaint ?

Mike just had to go post this when I have been thinking about buying a convertible this year (was not thinking of adding another 993, but at this price..) , and I just sold those chunks of stock last week....... oh no.....
