Default Porsche Sun Shield

I checked the archives and couldn't find much material on this.

Any suggestions for a sun shield (front & rear windows) for my car would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

a lot of places sell the front sun shade that us custom for the 993. for rear windshield, you can buy the shiny reflective bubble wrap-like insulating material and cut it to the shape of your rear windshield. i do that from my targa and it works/looks good. it's flexible enough and rolls up when not in use.

Dave -

I also bought the pleated foam board sun shade from Performance Products. it is definitely form fitted to match the windshield exactly -- I like it.

I've used a front "Covercraft" sun shield for several years. Excellent fit, seconds to unfold & install & works well. Available from a number of on-line sources.

Performance Products Shade fits perfectly, even with the Valentine One in the lower part of the windshield.

For temporary use in the back, as in driving across the desert in July in a '86 Carrera, I have bought cheap limo tint by the roll and put it. It holds by static cling and really helps.
