Only 5 people showed? Damn.
How about doing another run after this 17th? My 944 has been parked for the last 6 months and needs a lil' strech.

Maybe next time (I'm still looking for the 'travelled the furthest for a drive' prize...)

Drop on by my Tiki Lounge, I've got some nice images from the show posted there.

How serious is this operation? I've driven up there a number of times recently, and only saw one cop when I was zipping around a corner. He didn't come after me.
I'm up for a run whenever. Usually early morning weekends. The next few weekends I'm out of town, then I'm moving the end of this month. So except for my trip to Buttonwillow on June 19th, I don't plan on doing much driving in June.

We were pretty low key. In fact I did not notice any shocked faces when I passed the locals. Also you guys picked the place by your voting.
The thing we had going for us is that we were small, unobtrusive, early, and we were exteremly courtious to the others on the road. In otherwords, we did not stick out. It is one thing zip around in a normal muffeled P-Car and it is another to be riding a full race Duc or Harley in full leather or Hells Angeles gear.
We should also post about the hot enforcement spots to avoid getting popped.
