The attached is from the Service information manual for the 993 RS. You will note it is the "road" setup.... already very sporty.

Hope this helps.

Need to know your goals before giving a meaningful answer. If handling is your highest priority, I'd go for more negative camber front and rear.

Agree, I would just add that you need to have the same camber front and rear if (fast) street driven, not daily office shuttle. If you see the track often, go with more in the front (-2.0 or more) albeit a bit radical, you will get the best out of your car. The other settings toe, caster, per RS specs.

Jean-Pierre,

Thanks for posting the specs.

In road-going setup, how is this on tire wear? I am assuming that the RS specs are going to cause faster tire wear...or is this a good balance between tire wear and performance?

Hello TomF,

At the moment, I am at race spec. I feel every pebble and scrape on every cigarette butt.

Tire wear?? They don't wear, they disappear!

Going to RS street spec next week. Tell you more in a year...

I am having great problems with tires. Namely pirelli POS. I am on my second set of rears in less than 1000kms. Pirelli will not ack their crappy QC and they say I am at fault (how could that be???). Porsche should remove their N3 from Pirelli as they do not comply with specs.

The tire diameter differs by 2 cms and therefore I am unable to give an honest assessment of the results. But...

Also due to a new job, with the attending pressures, I have driven it 800 kms since my last post on the subject.

It is softer with marginally more roll in the turns: the result of going from position 4 to position 1 on the antiroll bars. The car was raised 1 cm. Spring rate remains the same as the track spring rate. My splitters are not scraped as often :-)
