OK, a new day, a new thread - let's try keeping the gloves on...
Anyone going to Sebring this weeked for the Chin Motorsports event? I'll be there with my 911, hopefully a good pcar turnout.
If you're not familiar with Chin, they offer a LOT of track time. This saturday will be over 5 hours of open track, more than three times what the typical track day with PCA or NASA offers. I like NASA track days, and PCA is a good as well - this is my first time with Chin, hopefully the drivers are equally as responsible as in the aformentioned clubs. The price is pretty reasonable considering the amount of track time, it's $275 for one day. Sold out, too!
No, I'm not sure about the instructors. There might be some newbies there with instructors in the car, but I'm not sure. I'm more concerned with traffic being courteous and pointing the faster guys by, that's always been a huge problem in PCA. From what I understand, Chin caters more to the experienced driver, so I'm not sure how many students will be out there.
I'll be there but can only do Saturday as it's my first Chin event and am not signed off for Sunday open racing.... I'll get in late Friday night and will be at the gate first thing. I've got a black cab with a FSU license plate. Come on over!
