i bought original porsche car cover that is silver in color from the porsche dealer, not lined inside. does not fit well, kinda loose, and if the wind gets hold of it and starts flapping, puts scuff marks on paint. i think some after market ones are better.

car covers are a "no-no" for your paint's finish unless the car is completely clean when the cover goes on. they are great for storing or going out of town for awhile...just wash the car thoroughy or quick-detail wipe it first.

outdoor covers tend to rub the finish under windy conditions...not good to use unless there is really no choice....

IMHO, indoor covers are the only way to go... as others have said, the very best functional indoor cover you can get is DUSTOP...it blocks out all dust. However, for the "pow" factor, I like the www.carnewal.com cover...it looks so sweet.

My car is a garage queen and I proceed exactly as per Jonathan's comments above.

A picture is worth a 1000 words. Therefore 3 pictures is an epistle? No comments about the state of my garage..
