Hi,
does anyone know which vendor carries this setup.
I was told that Devek carried this in the past. I looked at their website and contacted Viperbob via email/PM but no answer.
I am unfortunately out of the country at the moment and it is difficult to call them.
Thanks.

Hi Ben, great.
I have been trying to get a hold of Bob and no answer so I thought I would ping the list for some answers just in case I can't get the used parts out of Fckdex.
Maybe in a couple of weeks, Fedex will be selling a used setup with very minor scratches

touf, is that you in the avatar? Recent? Hope nothing serious.
As far as Bob is concerned, it sometimes takes a bit to get his attention by email or PM but he will give you great service once you get him
"Swamped" is the right word in english I think.

Thanks Guys, ben got me the info I needed from Bob.
Jean, yes that is me at the FOS in Fontana about 2 months ago. Spun ended up on the wet grass and the rest is history.
Damage is around 20K. The car is almost ready one more week to go......

Bob get really swamped in the email department and it's usually best to just call (650) 369-3383. I very strongly urge you to get JICs instead of PSS-9. I have both and you can guess which I think is the better suspension.

I have run shot stock, PSS9, JIC, and soon am converting the ROW M030.
JIC is overkill for the street in my opinion - the reason I'm taking off JIC for ROW M030 is that the JIC is very close to a dedicated track setup. Spring rates are fairly high at 450/650 pounds. It is fine on smooth surfaces (like tracks!) but can be harsh on poorly maintained public roads.
I am converting my 993 to a 95% street 5% track (DE) car and think M030 is perfect for that blend. JIC is more of a 95% track 5% street setup. PSS9 a 50% track 50% street type option. You see my point? They are all compromises and as you move up the 'trackworthiness' ladder you get a less and less forgiving street ride. If I get the track bug seriously again I will move to a dedicated race car for that.

I am using the 8kg/12kg (450/674lbs) springs on my JIC/Cross setup and my car is for the street. These springs are WAY to stiff for the street and this is what JIC considers a street/track setup. I have been working with JIC to get this setup working better for the street. They are going to change the springs out to 7kg/10kg (393/564lbs) and upgrade the dampers for me for $300. I am hoping this setup will be a bit more compliant to most average street surfaces. Does anyone know what the spring ratings are on the PSS9's?

I believe JIC make 3 flavors of their set up with the 8/12 kg as the middle of the randge. I have it on my track car and think it's too much for the street, especially if you also add big, adjustable sway bars. I believe that for 5 or less track events per year, the Euro sport suspension would be the best. Until you learn to drive at the track and have significant experience, the suspension just isn't that critical and what's truely good for the track is not good for the street.
