Default Retaining Clips for defective headligh bulb holder....

Well finally ordered from suncoast as my passenger side had the defective housing. I tried my best to install that simple little clip but I just couldn't do it. Finally I took a good look and what I did was break off the mis-shapen piece that couldn't hold the retainer, it broke right off being magnesium, and voila, the new clip slid right on and locked in place.

My symptom was a recurring dim passenger side headlight, and the cause was the retainer was always coming off because it was defective. This fixed it. Highly recommend. Shoot, I though I was going to have to buy a new headlight!

Great news! Do you recall the part #? I have the same problem myself. Is it worth doing both sides at the same time and are they the same part #?

Thanks
