Default Air Inject Check Valve

SAI and Air Inject Check Valve Cut-off are the same thing? the Air Inject Check Valve is about $76.00. I was going to change the SAI and about to order the part but wanted to make sure. TIA, David

this little doodad, should be replaced every 15k or so. I have seen corroded check valves at 24k!!! Some say this doodad, could also be one of the cause's of the SAI problem.

Does anyone know where I can buy the special tool to remove/replace the check valve? or any ideas that you can share? I've seen the 'home-made' ones but I'm not sure if I can make one myself. Thanks.

I don't think so. If you have an angle grinder, vise, and a file you can make the one I made. Any kind of grinder will work I happen to have an angle grinder so I used that.
