A sad start to the rumble

Yeah Saturady was a BAD day. I left the house at 6:40 am to get to Santa Nella to meet with Jim Morton and friends. 28 miles into the trip came upon a 3-car fatal accident on 101 (2 unlucky souls died in that one, so I'm a lucky guy by comparison). Took me 45 minutes to clear the jam. I was late.
Hurrying over there I forgot the famous speed trap at Highway 152. Got tagged by a radar cop with a ticket of 94 in a 65 MPH zone. My 11-99 plate didn't save me. Hope I can do traffic school for this one. I promptly bought a V1 today.
Then I ran out of talent and luck 20 miles from the winery. Luckily I didn't run out of friends. Jim, Brad, Kurt all made sure Melissa and I were fine throughout. They missed their pre-paid BBQs on my account. I could only repay them with a late lunch at McDonalds. I still owe each of them a great big thank you. Then Bob rode to the rescue with his trailer. Can never say enough about Bob.....
The RUF is with Bob, I think she's mechanically sound. I just hope that the body-blow she took is not fatal.

Well the day after is not any easier... but as Alan said earlier there is always a silver lining in everything. I want to thank everyone for all the well wishes and hope for the best for the car. Jodi and I are one stiff couple today and we’ll have to take it easy for a little while. I feel badly for Jodi but so damn happy and thankful that we are okay.
Greg Fishman and Fill I lost my rear coming around a turn and the next thing I knew we slammed in to the soft (thank god) embankment. Steve Abrahams was behind me and said that the car skidded backward until I came to a stop… I think the whole incident happened in about 5 seconds.
I really don’t know the extent of the damages at this point. The front and rear bumpers are definitely gone. My biggest concern right now is the small crease on both sides of the roofline above the doors. And all the gaps (both doors, engine lid and trunk lid) of the car are way off. I think the bleeding (gear oil) finally stopped this afternoon. My garage is not my favorite part of the house right now as a matter of fact she is covered up because I can’t stand looking at her all messed up. Also if any of you know of the best shop that I can take my car to please let me know…
Addison & OG: I will call you tomorrow.
JRG: Thanks again for everything. I will call you to check out the shop you recommended.
Alan: Please add the pic in thread #36 to the two I ordered from the last Malibu run.
Don T: Thanks again for your help at the Winery.
Steve Abrahams: I will let you know if my insurance needs a witness.
BTW my email address is anthony.a.young@gmail.com
To the rest of the crew (ca993twin, Rand, Don C, Eric D, Lorenzo, ffisher, PK, Solitude, Edward, jcnesq, Bradford, dytoned and Warpman) THANK YOU AGAIN!

Alan, I hope that you will continue to post your photos (art). Your pictures are very nice and I like 'em!
It's been great that more of your stuff is showing up again.
Today was my birthday (55) and I received a Canon 10D from my wife.
I can't wait to play with it.
