Paul, the midnite blu car is actually Vesivio. Kinda purple. If Mt. Vesuvious would have know they were going to name such a beautiful color after it, the damn thing would have never exploded.

It's midnight, blue, Vesuvio, Mt. Vesuvius and erupted.

Hats off to everyone who had anything to do with organizing this little rumble. We had an outstanding time, with great food and excellent company. Jim, excellent route, even if we had to cut it a bit short. CP, sorry about your offroad excursion. Glad to see you both are ok and made it home. Hope AAA didnt give you much of hassle (since they told me to call the cops...figured you had enough of them already). Donsacto, we definately must get together and run some time... it was quite a spirited run we had through those streams, dogs and cows eh?

To everyone we met, thanks for the great time. And i must second Oldguy when i say you must do the Moonstone after!

Here are a few pics i took of the journey..
Getting together...
Getting ready for the twistys..
Friendly CHP officer just had to say hi..
Two pics of us heading into the twistys..
Lastly a rest stop...

You know, I am not that stupid but thanks for pointing out my mistakes. Actually sometimes I just type faster than my brain works and I don't take the time to proof read. However, since you have called me on my lack of due diligence, I must now be forced to take the time to edit my posts in the hope that your radar will not detect any inaccuracies.

I figured my time was better spent working to provide images for your entertainment rather than worry about being graded on my spelling. Didn't even use spell check and look at me, no misteakes.

Guys, you are really making me home sick AND I'm surely missing my cars!!!

Great pictures everybody!!!!

I felt really terrible when I first read about the accidents, However, I am very happy that everyone is okay. "They" say there is a positive in every negative. Might be sort of hard to see right now, but there's nothing more postive than everyone being okay..........

Tony, sorry to hear and see the mishap... but very glad you are o.k.

The rest of the great photos make me wish I lived out in sunny warm Cali with the rest of you guys! It was cold and nasty all weekend here

I know I've already thanked you, but I'd like to post a public thank you and words of appreciation to Fred for all his work (and those personalized maps), and John (JRG) for an outstanding lunch. The food was excellent and the venue beautiful! All exceeded only by hanging out with Rennlisters! Good seeing some of you again, and a real pleasure meeting others ...and connecting faces to names What a fabulous community we have here! Take care all, and hope to meet you again at some other gathering ...or track

Yeah JoAnne, time for that Riv Blue 993.

Fred, I think we finally got "the shot" of your car. The lighting has to be just right to bring out that particular blue so we got lucky and the backdrop ain't bad either.

Radar, I know ain't is not proper english so I hope it's okay with you.

Well, no one called you stupid, but if you think so... As to proof reading, I guess you'd rather proof watch your snapshots than make sure people know the correct spelling of a Porsche color. You see, typing Visivio is no different from typing Porche.

I figured my time was better spent working to provide images for your entertainment rather than worry about being graded on my spelling. Didn't even use spell check and look at me, no misteakes.
Don't go figuring too quickly. Not everyone on Rennlist is looking for threads full of silly snapshots of cars. Once in a while, a helpful post about 993's could be more worthwhile than a bunch of boring snapshots. But, with your Canon 20D, there is not much you can do to help people with P-cars. Just make sure you can promote your photography business.
