Just did a Map Quest and saw 100 miles from OC to Lebec!!!
I guess the OC caravan better be meeting up at 4:45am and departing at 5am sharp in order to make it for the 6:45 drivers meeting.

Wondering if ONTIME will be on time this time....?

BTW, Fred, this is over 1 hour (probably close to 1:30) further north than the Calabasas meeting spot. Will leaving at 7:00 put us in the PasoRobles area too early? And won't everyone coming from the south have to leave that much earlier? Don't get me wrong...this is actually easier for me. I'm just thinking of those coming from LA and below.

Good grief. That's a full 130+ miles, by 6:45? Does anyway have an idea how long this will take from Redlands, or know of a local cheap motel nearby?

 

I'm thinking the route I have in mind is around 4 1/2 hours. Stops will add to that. I like to get on the roads early to avoid traffic but if others want to push it back it's ok with me. Your self guided tour will take you from Frazier Park to the 33 to the 58 to the 229 up into Paso.

You guys tell me, do you want the Driver's meeting to start at 7:30 instead of 6:45? I'm open.

 

Although I won't be joining you all, I do have 2-3 radios that can be borowed from my house in Encino. Let me know ASAP if anyone wants 'em.

Now hold on, Steve. I think we can all work this out. Fred made a proposal for a 7:30 meeting (and presumably leave 15 min after that). At least year's rumble, we had maybe 30 or so cars make the caravan up...it was cool for all of us. You know, camaraderie! Let's get some feedback on the proposed time change so we can all get up to the Rumble spot like a group. Just MHO, anyway.

I'm open to leaving whenever we need to for best road conditions, and driving/arrival time. And I definately want to go as a caravan, pack, herd, or whatever groups of Pcars are called.

This is my RSVP. Can I meet the gaggle of Porsche's up by the 118 and the 405? Just name the time and call me on the radio (or cell phone) when you approach the 118, and I'll swing in line.

 

I agree to drive up together as much as possible. For me I rather have more time than being later or in a rush. So Fred I am good with whatever time and place you choose.
