Default I've seen the "light"...

On my way to work this morning, car fully warmed up, came to a stop and the CEL came on, but for only a very short time. I've personally only driven this car for 9K or so out of 33K, but first time I've seen the light with the engine on. Any clues as my car is a '95? Also, could it be related, at all, to my windows not working from time to time, right after start up? Any clues will be appreciated.

From what I've been told, that can happen if there is a temporary problem. The example I was given:

For some reason you foul a plug, CEL comes on. As you drive, it clears itself and light goes off.

If you're worried about it, you can take it to the dealer and they can hook it up and tell you what the fault was. Seems like you are having other issues, so take it in. My stealer...errr...dealer charges a minimum of $100 to hook it up to the diagnostics, even though we all know they get the answer in seconds usually.

You have a MY95 so you should be able to read out the CEL code using your accelerator pedal.

I have the occasional CEL. It only comes on (if at all) while car is at idle and only after car is fully warmed and have had some "spirited" drives (RPM >5K-6K). But once car is moving again, then CEL goes out on its own.

I just did the accelerator method of CEL read out. It reads: 1-2-2-4

What does that mean?

I did mutiple reads. Each time is the same: 1-2-2-4

Help....

TIA

Edit to my own Reply ( oh boy, do I feel stupid now... )
I should have read the rest of the thread that Jason had even kindly placed the link to. Right there (in Jason's post) it says, 2-4 : Oxygen sensor.
Lesson learned: Don't be a lazy ****. Finish reading the thread before posting.
Nevermind the cry out for help. All is good again.
