"Weltmeister Anti-Squeal Liners"... it keeps from brake sweaks at low speeds...

Just wondering if any of you use this product and your thoughts... Thanks!

My understanding is that the factory pads have anti-squeal "liners" fixed to the metal backing. Other pads may not. On my old VW I used an "anti-peep" (strange German translation) spray made by Wurth.

What pads are you using?
Well, even that doesn't matter so much, because:
With OEM pads there is no need for this, as Blaine said, they have anti squeal plates & "spiders" and even without them, I haven't had any noise with OEM pads.
If you however are using track pads, once they get hot (at track) they get quiet.
When they're cold, they squeal like a pig but "that's the price of being famous" as they say.

Haven't used them and don't consider to. My opinion is any such lining will result in a softer/spongier pedal (what I noticed with the OE anti-squeal shims). Besides, if they're anything like the factory anti-squeal thingies, will make pad replacement a royal headache.
About all I use is the anti-squeal spray sold in auto parts stores. Stock pads are quiet with it. Track/competition pads squeal like a stuck pig even with this stuff (especially after a track stint), but that's the nature of the beast.
