I recently purchased an aftermarket Fabspeed Maxflow exhaust system (used) for my 1996 993 N/A. The only hardware that came with the kit was the mufflers, tips and straps. Am I missing something??

Upon removing my factory Gillet mufflers & tips the clamps and o-rings connecting the factory mufflers to the Catalitic converters seems a bit small for the Fabspeed mufflers. I am also a bit concerned about using the factory clamp to connect the Fabspeed tips to the mufflers.

Am I suppose to use the factory clamps and o-rings, or do I need to obtain additional parts from Fabspeed? Since they are closed today, I thought I would check with one of the SMEs on Rennlist.

I'll take a break from the garage until I get a response......

Thanks for the help!!

P.S. I am a Rennlist subscription member, although I havn't posted in a looooong time. One of these days I'll post some pics of my car (1996 993 Coupe, 6 speed, Red on Black, 41k).

You'll need to use the stock clamps, and no need for the donuts from the factory setup. The mufflers should mat with the cats just fine.

FYI....turns out they installed much easier with the donuts. The seemed to provide a tighter fit using the o-ring between the muffler and cat.
