Default Pics of my 97 993...

I recently purchased this off a good friends brother, it was a special order car -Forest Green Metallic with Cashmere supple leather, he was the second owner. I'm really happy with it, I've been a lifelong Porsche fan and finally made the move, I sold my 04 VW R32 to get it! The spoiler and wing are factory RS pieces, I'm gonna add the side skirts as well as some Turbo S ducts and clear turns other than that I'm set. It has Work RPM's, Cross Coilovers, Monoballs, Cargraphic Mufflers, 996 3 spoke wheel, By Design Carbon Fiber/Titanium Strut Brace and like I said, a few more goodies on the way.

Love it! Very very nice. More pics when you remove the front bumperettes (the only possible critique I could have of that awesome machine). Me want!!!!

Yeah, while it wasn't my first color choice, my friend happens to be a tech at McKenna Porsche in SoCal and performed all the maintenance on it since 40k, as well as installing all the goodies, so having the piece of mind of a solid mechanical base helped sway my decision.

btw, how do you like the JIC cross's? I have been debating whether to go with those or the pss9s. I have been leaning towards those but there really haven't been enough people on this thread with them to provide any statistically significant feedback. The little I have heard about them has been very positive.

Well, I came from the Volkswagen/Audi scene and have had a H&R coilovers on my last 3 cars and swear by them. That being said, I like the Cross VERY MUCH, the ride and handling are great. I especially like the fact you can fine tune the ride height separate from the shock travel.

Parked on the corner of Fascinating Street and Conquest Court. Fascinating Conquest, indeed. Enjoy, and welcome!

I just took the Cross/JIC off my car (returning it to cushy street ride). There are 3 different spring rates available but the most commonly used is the middle stiffness - 450 lbs front and 650 lbs rear.

The ride is great on smooth roads - harsh on bad roads - and the handling is decidedly track oriented. Great set up but don't expect a compliant ride ( except on smooth blacktop).

Thanks for the kind words everyone! Yeah mine are the middle stiffness, I like a firm ride though, my R32 had 900's on the rear. Even though I feel our roads in Vegas are horrible, they are not as bad as most places, lol. It still has stock sway bars, I'm gonna do some shopping around and see what i come up with in that department.
