I had the same thing happened to my wheel after hitting a pothole...a small dent on the inside lip. I've taken it to the Wheel Repair Specialist in Santa Ana but I was not happy with them - they scratched the wheel while mounting/dismounting the tire - although they ended up painting the wheel at no cost, I didn't like the attitute of the people over there and the repair was mediocre at best. I'd do a search...I recall the Wheel Collision Center being mentioned quite a lot - no personal experience though. Sorry not much help. Good luck.

when i called and talked to them, they said they did not repair bent wheels, and then offered to sell me new hollow spokes at 1200 each. i am sure they are a great shop, but they werent much help to me on a bent rim, which surprised me...

There is also Wheel Collision Center in Bath, PA where you'd have to ship them to. I had some very good experience with them, most recently with some Audi wheels.

When Al Reed was repairing some scratches on one of my hollow spokes, he had a problem rebalancing because the wheel was slightly out of round. He sent it out to someone he knows locally and they made it perfect.

Al is in Anaheim. 714-632-3907.

Default The best shop is Weidmans Wheels

They are the onlyplace I know of that will fix the bent rim w/o heat. I sent them my rear hollow spoke Turbo Twist wheels off my 993TT to get them super true. They straighten them with jigs to .010-.020" true, better than factory spec .030". They will repaint too. They are super busy so it will take a week or two and month if you want a refin. They have been around doing Porsche wheels for 40 years and do not have a website or email. You can find there add in Excellence magazine.
