Default Trying out new camera on 993 (pics)

I just got a Nikon Coolpix 8800 digital camera and couldn't wait to play. Just some test shots of my car for a test...enjoy.

Anyway...I have a bunch to learn.

Looking good....Somehow I think clear corners would look really good on your 993....not that it looks bad now...it looks great!!

Love your self portrait.
Good luck with the new camera, the more you take the better you get, I think.

nice car! i also have been practicing with my new camera on cars in motion. i got real lucky with this pick as i thought it was getting too dark out. i thought you guys would appreciate it. i don't have a p-car myself and likely won't in the near future with a growing family. fortunately i've been lucky enough to drive a couple fun cars before moving to a family car. this was taken on tuesday evening about 6:30pm on 3rd street between howard and mission street (in front of the moma) here in san francisco. it's a long shot, but hopefully someone here owns this car. i have bias towards 993's so i'll post more as i catch more.

rcwelch,
She looks good!! The pics are composed very well. The first one looks a bit over exposed. I'm not sure how an Advanced Point and Shoot works but with the Rebel I can use Manual mode and adjust the shutter speed. I'd take it down a half notch so its not quite so over exposed.

Other than that...

That's a beautiful car. And you don't have any bumperettes. Perfect for some turbos S ducts and clear corners. ........if that appeals to you.
