Don't forget the highspeed fan switch that was less than $20.

Errr...uh....what mod is this? I thought it was a joke...what are y'all bending and why?

No joke...you roll the fenders to squeeze in either wider tires or to use wheels with less negative offset. If you feel under your fender lips you will feel a sharp edge, "rolling" these involves using either a bat, pipe, or a special tool to fold this lip back so it is bent back towards the inside of the fenders. The trick is to make sure you don't crack the paint

Clive.
Hi Clive: I have an early 95 model and it has no remote so to open and close the car I just use my key - Is there a keyless remote that you can recommend for my car that will lock my door and arm the built in alarm without messing with the stock electronics too much.

Thanks

Scott

Aluminum Gauge Rings from Cup-Sport - $99

Aluminum Steet Pedals / deadpedal set - $175 (well over $100 but very enjoyable upgrade)

Cup-Sport? Can you give me a little more info on that. My 'net search came up with lots of interesting results on that one.

I meant to ask this in the past. Where do Cab owners put their rennlist stickers? If you put it on the rear window, does it get messed up with top down, top up action?

David is right on w/ this one. I wouldn't try this on a 993 for the first time. It does take practice. I did it another car, but I did crack the paint so I'm glad it wasn't the 993!!

$50 for switch and wires; or for used Homelink
Is there an easy way to hookup a Homelink to one of the toggle switches in the console or is the p-car.com method the best?
Oh yeah! Does b4 mean 'before' or is b4 a brand of oil or something?

If you're comfortable with a soldering iron than you can hook up a homelink unit to a toggle switch. Or you can just get a homelink unit....only issue is I haven't figued out where to put it yet (3 soft buttons on unit).

another cheap mod inspired by painted seatbacks-

remove the ugly eyesore plastic ebrake tray and consol switch trays (2).
have them painted to match the exterior color of your car the next time your car is in the shop or your shop is painting in your body color.

Saves you the cost of thinking about getting aluminum or carbon fiber (expensive) parts to replace these. Penny saved is a penny earned
