one more month
I am having withdrawal...It's been one month since the hit and run that put my in the body shop, at first I thought it was going to be a quick fix, well I find out today that the body shop does not like the way the repair looks and wants to replace the WHOLE rear quarter panel. Now I am looking at another month before I get the car back...
I have mixed emotions, on one hand I am glad they are doing this right, on the flip side this is major surgery for what appears to be a minor ding... not sure what to think or do.. anyone faced the same dilemma?

Well, I can relate, to both the withdrawal and the "seemed minor" dilemma.
I got rear-ended last year. It was minor, but took forever. I was in a Chevy Malibu for 5 weeks! Ugh! The shop wanted it to look perfect, and it took time to get it right. But the results were way worth it. So try to be patient, you'll get it back, and it will be beautiful again.
My car is over at Sterling right now getting a new rear bumper. They are also dealing with some overspray that has become part of my paint...all over the car. It's been there 2 weeks today, and will probably be another 3-4 weeks. Believe me, I feel your pain.
Where did you take your car?
