Thumbs up 993 Brakes

I have a 993 1997 Carerra 4 and am wondering if anybody can help as to what brakes are on my car - large silver calipers with drilled vented disks. The calipers and discs appear larger than Carerra 2 brakes.

Unless somebody changed out the OE brakes, should be the same as C2 brakes exc. for the color of the calipers. Far as I know only the C4S has big brakes.

The C4 model typically had silver painted calipers, which are the same as the standard issue black calipers found on the C2. C4S and TT had the red, larger calipers as standard.

Brakes

C4 has the normal 993/S4 caliper on 304x32mm rotors front and the small/basic 4 piston rear on 299x24mm rotors rear.

The C4S will have the Big Red on 322x32 front and a slightly different version of the 993/S4 caliper on 322x28mm rear rotors
