this string got me curious, so I went out and looked. My car has what appears to be this treatment, however only in just on the front bumper...say just below the hood line, down around the opening and below. Plus there looks to be the same treatment just in front of the rear wheels. Is this standard fare?

slider, the bumper coverage is not standard. It was probably the previous owner who had it done.

I still haven't been able to get my arms around the repaint of my bumper (way too busy at work). I'll probably have to drop off the list although I'm going to be really bummed. My new job's commute will be about 30 miles on way on the freeway. I'm looking forward to the drive but did want to get this mod done before switching over. I'll let you know for sure soon.
