i have a 1996 993 TwinTurbo in polarsilver which lives in nyc - car has turbo-s front ducts.

Okay, if you're planning to be here in the DC area, I guess I need to get going on my front bumper respray. Any minimum length of time between a respray and application? A week, month, etc.?

FYI:
I found tip's regarding the film application process in the archives, seems paint requires 30-60 day cure time.

If you are to repaint, a cure time of 30-60 days is necessary. However, a request of having the paint baked to reduce the cure time is possible......just ask the body shop to do this.

I'll make some calls but obviously I can't get 60 days, not sure I can even get in for a 30 day window. I may have to wait until whenever the "next" time might be - I'll see what I can line up.

No problem, just let us know as we get closer to the dates. Having the vehicle baked will speed up the curing process......as to how much the baking would speed up the process would depend on how much time is placed in the baking room. Just ask your paint tech and they could help you with this.
