Alan, I will print your photo and slip it in the glovebox when the salesman is not looking. That is very funny.

BTW, nothing in that dealership is cheap. I am sure I will see it on the streets of Scottsdale soon, very sad. You should see how many Range Rovers drive around here with those stupid spinning wheels... on a proper British car!

Yes that is true, some have good taste and others don't. That's why they still make Velvet Elvis paintings.

Patrick, now you're thinkin, good idea.

I was thinking the same thing!

Wood dash & steering wheel, bird armrest with cupholders and this car would be complete!

Hey, I dont appreciate any of your negative comments on my last ride.. It may not have been as cool as your all black models, but back in 97 when I ordered it I was in my "Gold Stage".. Admittedly, at that time, I was in the forefront of what was to become the "Glam" movement.. (I'm not that proud of that stage either, but I'm not on this list to be a punching bag for your chromatic snobbery!!!)

(just kiddding..)

I thought Porsche reserved the right to not make a paint to match if it was a uuuuugly as this one. Oh well, to each his or her own. If I'm over in that part of town I'll stop in and see if the pictures do it justice.

Interesting interior brown/tan color combo. Looks like it should have a UPS logo embossed in the seatbacks...

makes me think of small kids saying "Your mother!!" or, "your mother wears combat boots",
perhaps i grewup in the wrong place.

how about this.. lets buy the car and then use it for a "pimp my porsche" TV show - we can get Xhibit to come by and make all sorts of suggestions!!

I am not making this up.......

We were at the Porsche Dealership in Las Vegas in 1996 and this guy was picking up his new 993 Cab. He was soooo excited about it, and asked what we thought of his new car. Well, it was Metallic Purple with Green interior, and the green interior had purple piping around the seats. JoAnne and I didn't know what to say. I'm not sure that I still don't know what to say! It was HIDEOUS. But the guy absolutely loved it. And I guess that's all that really matters.

I am sure it will match the future owners teeth.
