You are not comparing the same price tag. The GT2 is much more expensive.

Your production numbers on the GT2 are mistaken, please see below the actual data, posted earlier in this forum.. Net net, a GT2 without a blink.

1995:

430 hp@5,750RPM , 530 NM@4,500RPM same as the X51 option.
Gearbox type: G50/32 same as Clubsport. Other sources say it is a G50/54 which has the same 1st and 2nd.gear ratios as the the G50/32

Ratios: 1st: 13/41 2nd: 20/40 3rd.: 23/35 4th:29/36 5th:32/33 6th:35/29
so first gear is quite longer than the 993TT and Carrera, up to third gear, then they go shorter ratios from 4th. to 6th. Also 1st. to 3rd. gear are the same as the 993 RS and Clubsport..

LSD: 40%-65%
Sway bars: 22mm Fr and 21mm Rear
Weight: 1290 Kgs (37% Fr/63% Rear)
Tires: 235/40 Fr and 285/35 Rr
Weight/hp: 3.0 Kgs/hp
Vin: wwwpozzz99zts392001 up to wwwpozzz99zts392202 (172 cars out of which 20 were Clubsport)
1998
Same as above except
450 hp and no aluminum doors.
Vin: wwwpozzz99zts392001 up to wwwpozzz99zts392081 (21 cars were produced)Competition cars had VIN: wwwpozzz99zts393001 instead of 392001

Acceleration numbers vary between different sources, as a ballpark figure 0-200 kph is around 13 seconds.

These cars are not as rare as the 381 hp 964 Turbo S (81 produced worldwide) but they definitely are faster, and they have power steering! Same source quoted the Turbo S at 14.4 s from 0-200 kph.

Greg, FWIW they both have computer and two wheel drive, and the 993GT2 has much less than the 993 NA. I agree with you though, without a GT2 wing, a 993 is much nicer.

My earlier post referred to the 964 Turbo S, not 993 TTS,

From above: "964 Turbo S (81 produced worldwide) " I don't have data o the 993TTS though, your number sounds right.

993GT2 streetversion was much more rare than 993TT-S.
For me a streetlegal 993gt2 is a really unique car and one built with a real purpose - yet a purpose that really doesnt include the street.

Whereas the 993TT-S is really a normal TT with a loaded interior and some fake holes cut into the fenders. That said they are beautiful.
