You can buy airhorns with 120-128db...these sound like a semi or train horns. That should wake-up those cell-phone chatting, brain-dead SUV drivers!

Ok, I'll have to check and verify both my horns are working. Let me guess, in order to check, you put your ear right up to it, eh?

Does anyone know if they changed the horns at all from the mid 80's thru 1995? I liked the horn in my '86, but like I said my '95 trumpet horns sound weak.

When I put my factory steering wheel back in, one of my first mods I plan on doing is to replace the horn. I missed the euro sound of my '86 Carrera!

One of my ex's laughed the first time she heard my horn. Such a mean looking car with a kiddie horn, or something like that, were her comments. I guess until I get to changing it, it'll be incentive for me to not blow it too often!

I think I am going to get the Hella Disk Horns made in Germany. Just haven't got around to it.

I'd be interested in a GB on these horns.

I just e-mailed Gert on the group buy thing. I'll let you know when he replies. Anyone else interested, please let me know.

Maybe my horn had been changed before my ownership, but mine sounds fine. But, I like to think my ugly mug and unshaven face has something to do with it too!
