Who else gets 911 ankle?
On the other hand, when I was racing 500hp Corvettes and Camaros in high school, I had to practically press down the clutch with both feet. These had 10000 lb pressure plates... a bit more than a 993.
I will tell you what the killer is: on a long trip, 300 or 400 miles or more, my right shin hurts like a shin splint from holding my foot at the angle it needs to be for the gas pedal. I thought it was because of my 6 foot height and size 12 feet but my wife got the same thing and she is conciderably smaller! Granted this was on the long trip to Montana sitting for hours on end. It was fun cruising as fast as I wanted to go!
No problems here (I'm 5' 10" w/ short legs), but a tall friend (6' 5"?) sold his 993 because of recurring right ankle problems. Switched to a 996 which improved things, but it still bothered him. Finally sold that and got a Harley (don't ask; I sure can't figure it!).
For the right ankle prob., you could actually use the cruise control on long trips, but shhhh, don't tell anybody!
