Driver's Education Event at Gingerman on June 11th & 12th
Here's a big invitation to all of you who can make it,
The Michiana Region's 2005 Driver's Ed Event is scheduled for June 11th and June 12th at Gingerman Farms in South Haven, MI. There will be classes for beginners, plus for more advanced drivers. In addition to Driver's Ed, there will also be a Show and Shine with a People's Choice Award and a Saturday night Pig Roast. This event is a high point of the Michiana region Season.
The event chair is Marty Hostetler (574) 848-7739 useporsche@aol.com
Registrar is Dick Broadbent (269) 699-5607 bbent2@beanstalk.net
Drive and Shine by Dave Reed
If I can help with accomodations or resources you will need while you're here, please don't hesitate to ask.
Look forward to seeing you all at the track,
Mike Rhude (574) 825-0050 mrhude@aol.com

Three Wheelin'
For anyone lurking, this is a great low pressure event. One of the best run DE's in the midwest and Gingerman is a great DE track as there is almost nothing to run into! If I was not leaving for Le Mans that weekend, I would probaly be instructing with my buddy Don Dossman. Have fun Mike (did you take over PR from Don this year??)

Eric,
I'm just a gopher in the grand scheme of things. I talked with Marty today and offered to help with the details. I can't drive very fast, but I enjoy helping.
Take lots of pictures at LeMans and post them for the rest of us to enjoy!! Have a great time and thanks for the plug. We have a great region and an active group of guys and gals that enjoy their cars and racing.

Yes it is a very nice event, the people and track are terrific and since Eric isn't going this year if there's a bottle of Johnny Walker floating around the pig roast, more than one person might be able to enjoy a taste.

What are the rules on PCA members bringing a non-P-car? I don't think I'll have the right shocks/wheels/tires on the 993 in June, but I could bring the Neon, which runs a little faster around GM anyway.
