Default Ouch!! My baby... bodyshop in So. Cal?

This idiot in a Ford F-150 backed into my baby today in a parking lot. The truck had one of those enormous steel bumpers, he came out and said "Duh...did I do that?" the guy didn't even know he did it. Ok...the damage is done... Can anyone please recommend a few reputable bodyshops in So. Cal (preferably in San Ferando or San Gabriel Valley area) who does body works for Porsches? Can bodyshops fix the damage without using any Bodo stuff? Thank you in advance.

Marco's does very good work, but is not cheap. They have a few shops in SGV...I've had good experience with the ones in San Gabriel and Montery Park.

I would see if a paintless dent guy can get that out first. Though unlikely that he can "pop" all of that out, you never know...they can do miracles sometimes.

If the paint is not broken, dent wizard may be able to take it out. If not, I second Marcos.

Brace's Auto Body in Marina Del Rey is incredible. Pure magic on Porsches.

Not the SF Valley but fairly close.

Braces is good but I think Junior's House of Color is the top guy ...

Sorry to hear about your baby. Try the Dent wizard option first but, it looks like there is one sharp bend which will require a bit more work. If they have to use an bondo it will be a very small amount.
Good luck.

those paintless pop-a-dent guys work magic. a friend's boxster had a huge dent in the front 1/4 panel and they popped the whole thing out (i can't even see where the dent was).

I had a simialr thing happen to my car but in the front, Ford SUV. Junior's did the work and it was truly first class. The inside of the fender had a finish that was a s good as the outside, no filler. Junior's is in Bell Gardens off the 710.

Default I feel so much better...

To say the least...thanks to all you guys out there. Although it is hard to tell, the dent does not appear to have broken the paint (hopefully). I'm going to see if the dent wizard folks can fix it first, if not then I'll check out those fine shops. Thanks again.

Call Dent Wizard at 800-679-3368. They have a retail location in Torrance. Tell the receptionist Tommy has worked on your car before and you understand he has moved to the Inland Empire. Get his number and call him! He has done wonders on 3 of my cars.

As long as the paint is not damaged, a paintless dent repair guy can get that out.

I would use Dent Wizard for insurance quoting, but not for the work. Ask around your local PCA chapter and take your car to a reputible PDR guy. A good PDR guy can make it flawless, a bad PDR guy can make it look 100x worse.

I would trust Addison's recommendation as much as from a local PCA guy.
