Do you know if they can do the BTR/CTR conversion in the US now with the Dallas dealership? Last time I enquired with RUF Germany they said that it could only be done in Germany, any ideas?

harrY,

I cannot be sure. There are a few threads on the 993tt board about the new RUF facility in Dallas. I recall reading that they can do all conversions traditionally done in Germany previousely, and they have German technicians in Dallas now. Best is to contact them for a reliable answer.

Personally, I'm biased to think that Phaffenhausen is the best place to have RUF work done. It has such a long tradition and culture of impeccable work there. Parts are parts, but the devotion, and pride of workmanship in the plant, count for something in my mind.
