Exclamation Alignment Tech Session - Riverside CA

Folks,

Seeing as though there's been a lot of discussion lately about suspension and alignment improvements, I thought you'd all like to know about a Tech session the Riverside, CA region of the PCA is holding this coming Sunday (March 6th).

The Riverside Region PCA is holding a Tech Session @ Buds Tire Pros this coming Sunday (opening specially for this event!).

The event will be hosted by Manny Bautista who has 20 years experience in Porsche Alignment and Suspension. There will be a live "demo" of alignment taking place on a Porsche (not sure what model?), along with a discussion session.

Along with Manny, will be a representative from Michelin Tires, and a representative from Hunter Alignment (an alignment equipment manufacturing Co) for you to ask questions.

Door prizes (I'm told!) will be on a raffle style, with prizes including a free alignment, a free set of tires (to the value of $500), along with others (winners to pay relevant sales tax on prizes).

Free refreshments!

So , set a date for this Sunday 6th March at Buds Tire Pros.

I'll be going, so hope to see a few other Rennlisters from around the region.

Time = 11am
Location = 8651 Indiana Ave, Riverside, CA
Map = http://maps.google.com/maps?q=8651%2...977%2C0.380943

If you are thinking about going, can you please add to this thread so the hosts can figure numbers for seats and refreshments!

P.S. Yes, I did check with John D. first, and got his blessing to post this (and I will post pictures after the event for those that can't make it!)

I have no financial interest in this session, other than being a Riverside PCA member.

See you there!

Clive.

Kudo's to Bud and his crew for putting on an excellent tech session--well organized, informative, and enjoyable. Jim from Michelin told us all about tires, and even explained the difference between N0, N1, N5...Manny gave a top-notch presentation of the latest in four-wheel alignment technology, and Scott from Hunter was there to provide technical details on the equipment, including their trick wheel balancing gear. Lots of neat door prizes (I won a 550 Spyder!, and my friend Peter won $500 off on a new set of tires. Free pizza and sodas for lunch. All in all, a great day for Porsche nuts. Thanks, Bud.
