Odometer
Well.... crap. Had the car for 2 days now and already broke it. I reset the trip meter to zero and then noticed that the trip meter and odometer quit working. Speedo works fine. Searched the forum here and see that it is a fairly common failure. Lucky me....
So is the only real solution to remove it and send it to one of those shops in CA? Not a DIY thing at all?

Oopps, did you reset it while you were moving. I think the book says to only reset when stationary. I think the place in LA could fix you up. They have good reputation on this baord.
