Default Anyone any experience of RSJ ?

Looking at a 996 C4 from RSJ Sports Cars of Slough, England. They seem to have nice cars and offer a 1 year mechanical warranty. Has anyone any experience, good or bad of dealing with them ?

Thanks

David

Haven't heard any bad stuff about RSJ, but just don't swap emails with him ..... HE SHOUTS ALL THE TIME !!

Otherwise reasonable reputation at a sharpish price.

cheers, Maurice

Well, he's in the used car business ....

but his margins are not as large as your average OPC. You would get more response on the Pistonheads Porsche forum, as quite a few there have used him - try posting there.

I bought my 1994 993 from RSJ. Price did seem keen/attractive. I was assured that a PPI was a "waste of money" as the car was in so-called "perfect condition". My first mistake...trusting just another used car salesman! When I went to view the car it had blue leather not black as was advertised plus it had an antenna (never mentioned). Also, the mileage turned out to be higher than what was advertised. However, I still bought the car....crazy!

After four months of ownership I have spent around €5,000 on the car....I've had little time to enjoy the car as it has just been one thing after another. Quite obvious that the car was sold on commission and was never even checked by RSJ. Also, as far as I'm concerned his customer service leaves a lot to be desired.

I'm sure Joel has some good cars but make sure you get a thorough PPI done.
