I've had an unassembled Pocher K30 kit (black coupe) sitting in my closet for 5 yrs. The parts seem well made w/generally nice detail. It's a big 1:8 model (about 53cm /21") w/many pieces & somewhat intimidating exploded diagrams as instructions (like the PET CD). As a novice model maker, I'm sure it'll take me a substantial amount of time to assemble, so I've been putting if off.
Maybe when I retire
Try searching "Pocher Porsche" on eBay since they're sold there regularly. The engine detailing is not great. However, there is an engine detailing kit available if desired. AFAIK, these models are no longer in production & prices have been rising. I'm sure my little Carrera has held its value better than the real one.

Here's a couple pics of the Polar Silver 993 I built last year.
The last I heard was that Pocher is no longer in business, but may have sold the molds to another company. I don't think anyone is producing them at this time though. It might be a good idea to snag one while there are a few left.
I found one of the last Silver ones in Germany, and I think all that are left is Black. They do come pre-painted from the factory, and it is a pretty good job.
I also bought the engine detail kit to dress the motor up a bit.
As far as the build.....Not really that hard, if you have built models before. It takes a little "massaging" to get the door gaps right. And I had a problem with the rear wheels and tires sticking out to far (still have to work those in a little).

How about four 993's in any size you'd need except for 1/1 scale
